CALLOWAY, Cab: Cab Calloway in "Hi-De-Ho" (1947) (NTSC)
The 1947 feature film "Hi-De-Ho" features Cab Calloway and his orchestra performing many of their biggest hits. Cab's orchestra on this DVD included such jazz legends as Jonah Jones (trumpet), Keg Johnson (trombone & bass), Hilton Jefferson (alto sax), Sam "The Man" Taylor (tenor sax), John "Smitty" Smith (guitar), Milt Hinton (bass) and Panama Francis (drums).
